Protection and use The tent uses a hard ABS shell as the top and base, giving the fabric, mattress, and bedding a solid housing on the road. Over the fabric body, a 420D polyester Oxford rainfly adds another waterproof layer (rated 2500 mm) and is treated for UV and mold resistance. The main body is 280 g rip-stop canvas, also rated to 2500 mm, so both shell and fabric are set up to handle repeated exposure to rain and sun.
