Description .50cal T&E Traverse and Elevation Mechanism The .50cal T&E traverse and elevation mechanism is used to engage preselected targeted areas at night or during limited visibility conditions. These readings are measured from the traversing bar on the M3 tripod and the T&E mechanism. To obtain accurate readings, the T&E has to be zeroed, with all measurements recorded in mils.The T&E mechanism consists of a traversing hand wheel, locking nut, scale, and yoke.
