The aluminum front objective lock ring not only secures the objective lens assembly to the PVS-14 body housing so that the lens does not hit the intensifier tube inside, and also allows for weapon mounting your device. Weapon mounting your PVS-14 behind a night vision compatible EOTech or Aimpoint is a great way to shoot passively on an AR platform, as to not give away your position to others who may also have night vision capabilities. Redesigned with serrations to bite into a weapon mount for non-slip grip. Four set screws are required for this item.
