Periodic Markets : Implications for Rural Development

In spite of marked development in marketing system, economic improvement and technological advancement, the relevance of periodic markets holds an important place even in our present day marketing exchange systems. Although the periodic markets symbolise the traditional exchange system of goods, they amply draw the attention of social scientists, particularly geographers.
