Peachadew PepperIf you’re looking for a pepper that’s a bit out of the ordinary, look no further than our Peachadew pepper seeds. Created by legendary pepper grower Chris Fowler, the Peachadew is a round pepper that starts off green and ripens to a beautiful peach color. With a flavor profile and heat level similar to the Sugar Rush Peach, this pepper is a delightful addition to your garden. The Peachadew pepper is very similar to other round mild C. baccatum’s such as the red Malawi Piquant of Peppadew fame, and the white Sugar Rush Cream. Its delicious flavor and thick flesh make it ideal for a variety of culinary uses, from pickling to stuffing with cream cheese.? This style of pepper tends to be one of our better sellers and often sells out early into the seed buying season… just a heads up!Growing Conditions and Heat LevelThe Peachadew chile plants are known for their excellent production. They can grow over 4 feet tall and are robust enough to handle various growing conditions. When it comes to heat, the Peachadew is on the milder side, averaging about 1,000 Scoville Heat Units, however, the center pith/placental tissue may rate up to 5000 SHU if grown in a stressed environment. It’s a great option if you’re looking for something less intense but still want a pepper with a kick.Culinary Uses and PairingsThe Peachadew is not just another pretty face; it’s a culinary delight. Its medium heat level makes it ideal for fresh salsa, and its thick flesh is perfect for pickling or stuffing with cream cheese. Here is a pickling recipe I use with this style of pepper [Food.com Recipe Link]. It is a sweet brine with ginger. Once pickled, we are huge fans of stuffing the peppers with herbed goat cheese and placing under the broiler. Yum! Alternately, imagine a fresh Peachadew pepper stuffed with a mixture of cream cheese and herbs, or sliced into a fresh summer salad. The possibilities are endless. So, if you’re looking to diversify your pepper collection, our Peachadew pepper seeds are a must-have. Not only will they add a pop of color to your garden, but they’ll also bring a unique flavor and versatility to your culinary adventures.1,000 SHU. This is an estimate. Scoville ratings will change based on growing conditions.
