The Gerber Key Note is a multi-purpose key chain cutting tool that packs a surprising amount of utility into a compact and easy to carry package. The blade is can be deployed with a starter tab and secured open with the nail nick or opened with two hands like a traditional folder. The beefy, chisel-like blade offers both a scraping and a cutting edge. The Key Note can be carried in multiple ways: on the belt, in pocket, or on a keychain. Handle: A black stainless liner forms the simple and reliable liner lock mechanism and supports one of the Gerber Shield shaped aluminum handles. The handles are milled with grooves for traction and a finger cutout and installed split ring enhance traction and security in the hand. Open construction makes for easy cleaning and maintenance.
