A Shahsavan rug, with an abrash navy-blue field. This design is considered one of the rare and classical patterns of Shahsavan weaving. It is typically woven in runner format, composed of an all-over vagireh with floral motifs. Bird figures (likely representing hoopoes) are repeated throughout both the field and the border, and additional motifs such as boteh are also incorporated within the border. The carpet is preserved in excellent condition.
