The bag is hand-sewn according to traditional means and opens out to become a small round cloth, which can be conveniently placed on a tree stump, rock or even on a patch of grass. You can then set out all the fire making tools and materials you need in order to build a fire using the traditional Flint and Steel method. By threading a leather cord or cotton rope through the slot provided, you can transform this small round cloth back into a protective bag that will shield its contents from the wind and rain.
